I am currently a 3rd year Biological Science Student at UOIT. I am delighted to be able to bring the Canadian Red Cross to UOIT/DC this year! Even as students, there is so much we can do to alleviate the suffering of others in the world, under the same vision that the Red Cross was originally founded. Poverty, conflict, discrimination are only of some of the challenges we face today… but we can ALL be agents of change! I look forward to working with all of you this year!

I am currently a 3rd year Mechatronics Engineering student at UOIT. For the past 2 years, the UOIT/DC campus has been my home, and I am ecstatic to be given the opportunity to affiliate the Canadian Red Cross with such rapidly growing institutions. Red Cross is just one of the many stepping stones to arise for UOIT/DC in the near future. Hey everyone! I'm Justin and I'm our VP of Finance for the year. I'm a 3rd year student in the Life Sciences program at UOIT. I intend to treat this position with the same level of dedication and commitment that I have put forth into my academics, as well as my other extracurricular involvements. Red Cross is an excellent organization, and I strongly suggest becoming involved. We have an amazing executive team this year that is determined to help make a difference.

My name is Benjamin Lee and I am in my third year of the Forensic Science program at UOIT. I really enjoy working on art projects, whether it be fine arts, photography, film, or music. I believe that everyone should be aware of all the issues, not only internationally, but locally as well. I hope that we will be able to make a change in the world around us, whether it be big or small.

As the Events Coordinator of Red Cross UOIT/DC, I am extremely excited and am looking forward to a big year of uniting people in our community for the grand cause of helping others in need. Our focus, as an exec team, is to bring events which not only generate awareness and charity, but also great memories. We hope to create experiences that will be re-told and make a positive difference in the lives of those involved.

My name is Soroush Torkian and I am the Vice President of Internal Affairs of Red Cross Youth Action (RCYA). I am very friendly and down to Earth kind of guy and I hope to be a catalyst for change locally and around the globe through RCYA. I have picked up valuable leadership and administrative skills through my various jobs which include, being a sales clerk, medical office clerk, and a pharmacy clerk. I hope my contributions and your contributions will one day get this club well-known.
